     Howard Lamcke has been helping homeowners create their
dream homes for over 35 years. Whether you want a room addition, a whole
house remodel, a beautiful kitchen and/or bathroom, we are here to make
it happen.
      Your remodeling journey starts will an appointment
for an estimate. We will take measurements, review your goals and
offer suggestions. If you have an exact plan in mind, we can provide an
accurate estimate in a few days. If our discussion is preliminary, or
you need design work, we can offer "ballpark" estimates. Depending on
the style of your project, we can provide design services or refer you
to one of our design professionals. All of our customers receive a
handy information folder with referrals for supplies and subcontractors,
and our able staff is always available to help with the planning
process.
      There are no secrets to a successful remodel
project. It requires preparation and patience. The best way to avoid
problems is to be prepared before we start your project. This means you
may be selecting your appliances, floor covering, cabinets, lighting,
countertops and other materials before your project begins. For
example, before we start a kitchen remodel, we prefer to have the
cabinets in the garage, the appliances paid for in the warehouse
awaiting installation and the granite slab at the factory. This allows
us to accurately schedule our crew and subcontractors and shortens the
time you wait for your project to be completed.
      Of course, problems may arise when we open up old
walls or brand new fixtures arrive damaged in the box. This is where
patience comes in. Remodeling your home can often be very stressful.
It's not easy being without a kitchen sink for three weeks, or having a
steady stream of strangers in your home. At Howard Lamcke, we work to
minimize the disruption. We haul all debris and keep clean sites. We set
up temporary services and never leave the water or electricity off
overnight. We've developed an end of the day checklist for our employees
to make sure your home is safe and secure each evening. We've worked
with the same employees, subcontractors and suppliers for many years and
have developed a team with a family atmosphere.
